Little Aussie Communities

I enjoy the handy tips for gardening as well as the wonderful household tips. We have also used a number of the various repairers or plumbers and so on. The companies we have contacted through Little Aussie WA have been great. We have not used anyone recently, but those we have contacted previously, have done themselves proud. We prefer using local businesses.

Jem's Carpet Cleaning have been advertising with Little Aussie since 2013. I was attracted to Little Aussie because of the quality of the magazine and my customers always have positive things to say. It’s also good to be associated with other quality, small businesses who are doing the right thing.Little Aussie customers are always lovely & they understand the value of a high-quality job and that it might not always be the cheapest. It also helps that Little Aussie looks after everything to do with my advertising with them, so I can get on with doing my job.

This is the first time I have looked through The Little Aussie Communities and I am so impressed! I need a few things done around the house & yard , the first is a new roller door. Thank you for this little gem of community information.

Consistently drop their advertising materials in your mail box regardless of size or amount of signage telling them ‘NO JUNK OR UNSOLICITED MAIL’... It’s not rocket science. To make matters worse their contact number requires you to leave your name and number and the reason for your call. How about you learn to read first then respect others.

Junk mail is a dead advertising medium.The carbon footprint of production distribution and transport to destruction far outweighs any advantages to advertisers who should be in the carbon neutral digital space.

I always enjoy the Little Aussie booklets when they arrive in the mailbox. It's great to have community based business information at your fingertips. I especially enjoy reading the handy home hints and the recipe pages.

On average, the businesses advertising at *Little Aussie Communities* offer prices for services that are 20%-25% higher than offered by comparable businesses within the corresponding area.This is no help to communities by any means, it's just expensive advertising of average to mediocre businesses that are often on a verge of unsustainability.It's just exploitative to the average consumer, who assumes honesty and helpfulness, purposefully and insidiously embedded in the name of this publication.For example, one of the electricians, advertising himself under the guise of an apparently large company, provides NO FREE QUOTES and SERVICES 30% HIGHER than comparable electricians within the area.When you call him, he just blurbs a very well-rehearsed statement that his company provides excellence in reasonably priced services to the community. When he is asked for references, he cannot provide any, as it is not customary according to him.Also, he didn't know that an instant (continuous) 3-phase-current water flow heater is suitable and sufficient to dispense hot water even to large bathtubs, without a Jacuzzi-style water recirculating heater.

I find interesting articles in my email from Little Aussie Communities I receive each week. Information from household tips, to health, to pet advice, even recipes. Not to forget tradies and services. Great work to all at Little Aussie. Congratulations
